SPRING BURNING: OPEN
Effective April 1, 2024 outside burning is OPEN in Ravalli County & Missoula counties. Please make sure to obtain a burn permit and make sure to activate your permit each time you burn. With the lack of significant moisture during the winter, fuels are still very dry and won't take much to burn. Please make sure to monitor the weather for changing/increasing wind conditions thru the day. Have adequate resources ie: water, shovels, manpower and proper clearance available before you start burning.
